Read "The Shack" by William P Young. I promise it will change your life. There is a lot of God breathed truth in that book. I read, study, and use an NIV Study Bible. I just purchased a Strong's Concordance. Talk about getting in-depth studying!

I love christian music. My radio is locked on my local KLOVE station. You all need to give a listen to a song by Chris Sligh called "Empty Me." I just added it to my music player. It's not Jeremy Camp's song of the same name. Listen to it and tell me that it should not be all of our prayers!! I also like December Radio, Skillet, and Needtobreathe. I recently heard a group called Fireflight. I kinda like them also. There is a woman named Autumn Ashley I heard a few years back at Acquire The Fire. I LOVE this woman's voice. You all should check out her Myspace page and give her a listen. She is AWESOME!

I really don't watch a lot of movies. I still watch old movies like Eddie and The Cruisers, Empire Records, Shag, Dirty Dancing, Blink, Switch. None of the new stuff seems to hold my interest.

Reading, playing basketball, witnessing to friends, family, and whoever I can get to listen. And STUDYING!

I've been reading a devotional given to me by a friend. It's called Faith Food for Winter. It's amazing how some of us, myself included, don't get certain truths until something like this falls in our lap. It is a simple little book but it just really spoke to me on several levels of my faith. I encourage everyone to check it out. You can find it at several online bookstores.

I am a happily married 40something male. I love to learn and grow in Christ. I love to reach out to new people and encourage them in God's word and lead them to seek their salvation through Christ Jesus. My wife and I attend the Southeast Baton Rouge Vineyard Church, a non-denominational church.

Studying and learning about our Lord. Music. Spending time with my wife. People who are not afraid to listen to the Word. I like positive thinkers. I love people who are deep in faith. The more I learn about our Lord, the more I want to learn. I like watching the Gospel Music Channel while I study.

THE ENEMY. Negative thinking. Faithless people who can only see defeat, never to put to use the faith they claim to have.

Hi Robert,

Praise God that you are feeling better! I'm doing better myself, as it is my birthday. Thank you for the wishes. I received a phone call from home about my mother being ill. I'm going home earlier than I thought, but hey, I know she'll be okay. I'll continue to keep you in my prayers. Thank you for keeping me in yours. Have a great weekend!!

Through Christ,
Kate

Hi Robert,

Today was a more difficult day and I'm trying hard to be strong, but I cried a lot just a little while a go. It's a long story, but it's safe to say I'm praying that I'll be strong. I need HIS strength right now. Are you still doing okay? I have my good days and bad days too. I'll keep you in my prayers, my brother. Well I need to wash my face and get ready to go. Have a blessed weekend.

Your Sister Through Christ,
Kate

How are you all doing? I was praying for you all, and actually everyone who lives on the Gulf coast, because of the dad-burn "Hurrycanes" I actually was raised in Alice Texas, which is 55 miles west of Corpus Christi Texas, and now I live in the Kansas City Missouri area, and to tell you the truth... I'd rather survive a herricane than get scared by a Tornado. You can prepare for a Herr., but a Tornado can just come outta nowhere during a thunderstorm.

Well I'll talk to you later, God bless you all. Your brother in Christ, Scott
