I asked the Lord
"What should I say
To people like me
Who've lost their way?"
And He spoke these words
In a manner to be heard
"Nothing is what you say
To people who've lost their way
What you do is show
And let them know you know
What they're going through
Take their hand
And together stand
And walk to a path that is new
Use no words
Let your heart be heard
And take their heart in yours
Words can be useless
And sometimes puffs of air
Actions are where meaning pours,"
I also asked Him,
"What can I do for You?"
And he said,
"Live your life
As if it were new
Live it for Me
And not for you
Take into account
That others need your help
When you are well enough
You'll know the time and place
To guide others
What you can also do for me
Is love with your heart fully,"
I thanked the Lord
And went back into prayer
Praising Him
To everyone, everywhere
