Yes, I am really mad and very dissapointed in two individuals. Fr. Michael Pfleger and his eminence Francis Cardinal George. Why?

First I am extremely angry with Father Pfleger for the hatred and racist feelings that he perpetuates. As a Catholic I am ashamed and embarresed that this man has espoused such racist speech and positions and that he is allowed to continued to do so. I was very surprised by his support of Rev. Wright a few weeks ago, but I am truly outraged by the speech that I saw today that he made. Now granted, I am not an Obama supporter or Hillary supporter or John McCain for that matter, but whether one is or not, one can not sit by and just accept the message that Pfleger made today when he spoke at the Trinity Church of Christ. This man should be Laicization (or in Protestant terms - DEFROCKED) as far as I am concerened, for the message that I hear from him is not the message of the Gospel, but a message that is totally opposite of what the Gospel teaches. He teaches hate, not love.... division, not oneness.

My guess is that he has done some good somewhere, but what he is doing now is not good and certainly not representative of Catholic Christian teaching. Pfleger, how can you be a Catholic priest and stand in a church and ridicule a person in the way that you did to Senator Clinton? How can you lead people to God when your words and methods are straight in the playbook of the enemy. Pfleger, you ought to be ashame of your self and you are a disgrace to the Lord that you claim to serve. (Yes, I am worked up...sorry folks)

Now in regards to his Eminence Francis Cardinal George, I fully respect the office of the cardinal and know that through the Holy Spirit, these men such as Cardinal George are elevated because the Holy Spirit has guided that decision. So, I respect the postion, but I have to say Cardinal George, I am not sure who I am more upset with, Pflefer or you. As a "prince of the church", I am surprised that you have not stepped in and stopped this man from making a mokery of the priesthood and the Catholic church. I am so glad that we have a very level headed and Spirit filled Cardinal here in Houston, Daniel Cardinal DiNardo. Thank God (literrally) that Cardinal DiNardo uses wisdom from God to lead this Archdiocese.

Pfleger, stop spreading the hate for political expediency and start spreading the love of Christ. Your reward will be much greater.
