hurricane update number 3
Posted On 09/13/2008 06:27:17 by DeaconDan

Still in the middle of it.  It is 6:25 AM and it is so dark outside.  You can't see too far in the distance.  I took about 2 hours nap, but up at it again.  There are reported 2 million customers without electricity.  My laptop batery is about out, so will figure out a different solution to blog during this time if I can.  There is very little that I can see as far as damage, but in parts of Houston, lots of damage.

The eye passed over it already, so we just need to ride it out for a few hours more.  There is flooding here in homes, but not citywide.  This storm had very litttle rain comparibly so, so the flooding is comeing from the storm surge.

There was a storm related fire in gowntown Houston to a okd and good resteraunt called Brennins.

OK, that's it for now.  Type to you soon.

I Pray that yaw'll are safe, and I continue to pray for yaw'll and the Texas People.

I have went through 4 huricanes when I lived in South Carolina and Florida. The one I remember the most is

huricane Hugo back in 1987,I remember how much destruction it brought and the so many lives in turmoil.

Our Lord Jesus will guide you in the right path in this dificult time.
