buttermilk brownies

Mix together: 

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
4 Tbsp. cocoa

Bring to a Boil :

1 cup water
1 stick marg.
1/2 cup oil

Pour these 3 ingredients in with the 1st 3 ingredients. Mix well. Then add: 
1/2   cup buttermilk       ;            &n bsp;             ;            &n bsp;             ;            &n bsp;    
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well. Pour brownie mixture in greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes.

Frosting:
1 stick marg.
1/4 cup cocoa
1/3 cup buttermilk
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. in another bowl you need 1 pd.( approx. 3 3/4 cup) powdered sugar
Add in buttermilk mixture. Stir together. Add 1/2 tsp. vanilla. mix well.  Pour over cooled brownies. 

These are the BEST brownies I've ever had.
