I'm a bit of an eclectic. Although I'm practically a FUNDAMENTAL Christian, I know what I like. I'm a Sci-Fi junkie who watches American Idol (go David Cook!) and listens to Country and Classic Rock. I read Stephen King, play Warcraft (or used to), and am really into guns---or, at least, the guns I carry at work. Rather than pull me away from Christ, I think my tastes drive me toward Him. They are by no means a good moral influence on me, but they keep me honest, letting me know that my relationship with Jesus is genuine, rather than some packaged-and-stamped belief system that I inherited from my folks. Rather than just drinking the Kool-Aid, I know WHY I'm a Christian---because even through all my likes and dislikes, Jesus is not just my Savior but my LORD.
