Scott (and Terri), I am praying for you everyday. I sincerely pray things are getting better for you both, physically and emotionally. I know you know that the Lord uses situations like these to further His Kingdom and His Word." And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. "
Romans 8:28 (NKJV) I pray the Lord heals you and brings you both peace with your daughter. God Bless, your sister in Christ, Nette
Hello Scott, So sorry to hear of your problems. Talk to yourself and tell yourself that you are o.k., it helps, keep telling yourself that over and over. I too fight with anixety and depression, and it's hard to explain sometimes how you feel to someone. And I too have problems with Bronchitus, we share some of the same things. Life is very hard out in the real world, but stay strong, fight it, you can do it. This is what I have to do with myself when I get very depressed and down. Keep showing your daughter love, and hopefully she will come back around. Hopefully it's just a phase she's going through. Just don't give up, stay strong, you must. Give my best to Terri as well, and together you will get through this. Of course I will pray for you all. Ya take care and know that you are not alone, alright. Love to you all, Injungirl-Teresaquote="PrayerWarriorScott"] Hi, I'm sending this same comment to everyone. I'm still getting better, and I'll explain. One of my children has been giving terri and myself some serious problems as of late, in addition to the problems we are having on a normal basis, and we are seriously stretched to the limit of our sanity, and stressed to the MAX, so the reason why I went to the Hospital the other night was because I had a massive Anxiety attack, which has some of the same symptoms of a Heart Attack (side note.... my father died of congestive heart failure), I went out in excessive heat and humidity to find my daughter, and as you all know I am not in good physical health myself, well with all these conditions (health, heat, humidity, diagnosed severe depression, diagnosed anxiety, a child giving us problems of biblical perportions) I had the anxiety attack, and after tests, xrays, and medicine my anxiety calmed down, but the Dr. did find that I am in the first stages of Bronchitis... I have a bad history with Bronchitis, with me it will turn into Pnuemonia very easily, and this would be very bad, but it was caught early, and with meds I'll be fine and free of bronchitis.
This has set me back a week or two, but I'm trying my best to get back to OCP on a regular basis. Terri and I really thank you for all of your prayers, and wish that you all please still pray. Our daughter is really letting Satan control her, and she has just pushed Jesus out of the throne in her heart, and seemingly put him in the closet, and we need prayer for her to come back to God, and be the child of God we know she can be.
Thank you all again. God bless you. Your brother in Christ, Scott[/quote]
Having not been blessed with children of our own, my wife and I became foster parents. We were blessed with a young girl who had really had a rough life prior to being placed with us. She was 13 when she came to us, but turned 14 shortly there after. I approached her from the standpoint of the love circle - show her love, serve her unconditionally, which will lead to respect from her, which will lead to her willingly serving you, which will grow love for you in her heart. After her being with us for a little over two weeks, she began to call me Dad and she practically became my shadow. Even though she is no longer with us she still refers to me as her father and calls us whenever she can to let us know how things are going with her. I will not pretend to understand the problems you are having with your daughter and I know you are doing all you can to resolve your daughter's issues. I am only offering this as maybe something you might not have tried yet in hopes that it may help you. My wife and I will be praying for you and yours. Many blessings, my friend.
Scott I am going to pray for you now. Trust in Him who cares for you all. Jeff

You were stationed at Holloman? That would really be a coincedence would it not? I was in HQ squadron at 49th TFW and worked in the 8th AMU/TFS Black Sheep Squadron as an analyst. If you were a crew chief I probably met you. I talked to them on a daily basis almost. Well, at least some of them. The ones who didn't fill out their paperwork. Anyway, have a blessed day.
I have to say that I have seen your moniker on here numerous times but today is the first time I actually dropped by to read your page. You are a unique person. A devoted christian adult, part child, A vetran of USAF (I am too by the way - 1987 -1990, Holloman AFB data analysis on F-15's), a comic fan ( I used to be also before Marvel allowed the writers to leave and the hacks ruined the books), a motorcycle enthusiast that doesn't like Harleys. You are truly unique. I pray that God has blessed you today and that you are not experiencing too much pain. It would be my pleasure to fellowship with you.
Be merficul to me, O God, be merciful to me, for in thee my soul takes refuge; in the shadow of thy wings I will take refuge; till the storms of destruction pass by. Psalm 57:1
Dear God, give my brother Scott's prayers the power of an eagle's wings. Give him the tenacity of an eagle and the courage to ride out the storms of life, to soar above the threatening clouds and to locate the shelter that you alone provide. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen!
I hope not, for this is the day that the Lord has made!!! Thank God that we have been given another Monday in our lives. Have a great week and have a...

Hello Scott, No, Scott I don't think you are being pushy or phishing, or anything like that. My name is Teresa, and my husbands name is Lloyd. I don't want you to think that he isn't friendly or anything like that but he has just cetain things he likes to do on the computer and thats it. He doesn't have all those games that you play or game systems. He's not much for the computer to much anyway. I hope you don't think me rude for saying that, but it's the truth. His health is not good and he has things to do around here, especially with me getting ready to have back surgery next week, that keeps him pretty busy. He helps me out all the time, as he knows I can't do. We basically help each other as best we can when one needs help. He cleans, cooks, mows, edges, not to shabby for a very bad heart condition. He rest in the afternoons each and every day. Plus he lives with migraines-3 hellish days worth of being sick. He's wonderful, such a very giving of himself man. I should strive to be more like him. He is so forgiving of others, and looks for the good in people, as I said he's a wonderful husband in every way, and he does love Our God, very much so. I'm sorry Scott that it wont work out, don't think badly of him for it please, because nothing could be further from the truth. Went and registered today for the surgery, and fitted for the brace, guess it's offical now, next Wed. is the big day. I've heard wonderful things about the Neurosurgeon, that always helps, my old Neurosurgeon retired. Guess he's out in his yacht fishing now. Well Scott, it's getting late and I'm very tired, so I wish you and yours a peaceful night and pleasant dreams. God Bless you in all that you do. Again , don't think bad of Lloyd, he's just not a computer nut. Again, he loves the Lord and wants only to please HIM, so nothing is further from the truth than to think he just doesn't care, that is simply not true at all. He's not that kind or type of man. Good night Scott, and take great care, be well, safe and happy. God Bless YOU!! Hugs & Laughter, Injungirl

Hello injungirl, I do have a few questions... maybe I could get him interested in joining OCP, as we have a few things in common, What type of games does he play... Computer games, Playstation 2 games, or whatever. I like NHRA Funny cars, Top Fuel Dragsters, and Prostock Motorcycles. I have a few friends on OCP, and I'm always looking for more, but the way my wife and me do it is... I'll befriend the husbands, and my wife will get to be friends with the wives, and then if things work out then we get to be friends with both, and I just love to fellowship, and share the word of God. I was wondering what yours and your husbands names are? If this is too personal then that's fine, I understand, just like when I have a conversation with a person I make eye contact with them, I also like to know the names of people with whom I'm talking to. If you don't want to that's ok. I'd like to become friends with your hubby. I like to play computer games, and have a number of them, I have most of the Command & Conquer games, I like Starcraft, and Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War, and a bunch of others. I have the Playstation 2, and numerous games my favorite is Call to Duty 2: Big Red One, and Killzone, and then we have an original top loading Nintendo game console, and of course Legend of Zelda, and Adventures of Link. Well anyway I'll give him my email address if he wants it. I hope this didn't sound too pushy or anything , or even Sinister as in those phishers who steal personal information, I just get so excited when I think about fellowshipping about God. Well I'll close for now. God bless you. Your brother in Christ, Scott
Hello, I was wondering... Does your Hubby have a Profile on OCP? If so... have him come my way and perhaps we might become friends. I'll be praying for both of you, and for your operation on the 3rd. God is the great healer, and I'll be lifting you up to him, but he already knows yours and your husbands needs, he just loves to hear from us all. God bless you. Your brother in Christ, Scott Hey PrayerWarriorScott, Hope this note will reach you feeling great and having a lovely time. My hubby doesn't have this site, he doesn't do much on the computer except house plans and Nascar and a few games is all. I appreciate all your prayers for my husband and myself. (please include my Mother) we just got her home from the hospital. She has COPD advanced, and her lungs fight to breath. Very scarrey stuff to be sure. They are to bring her oxygen and set it up next week sometime. We share a lot in common, and know the rough times we've been through, and yet here we are being strong. We believe in Christ and HIS love, and are here to help each other as HE would want us to do. Life is such a blessing! God has HIS plans for us already written. Maybe we are the tools so that they may learn how to help others in need. That's the way I look at it too. There is a reason for everything, even though at times we find it hard to understand, why God has done something. HE gave HIS life for us, the greatest gift of all. God knows what HE'S doing. YOu know what I'm trying to say. I wish you only the very best in everything, and I'm here sooner or later if you want to talk. God be with you , blessings to you, and peace be with you. Again I appreciate all your care and prayers, and I give right back to you as well my friend. Let us walk with God, Injungirl ~~HUGS~~
I pray that you and yours have a wonderful, safe and Blessed Memorial Day Weekend. Remember those who have sacrificed their lives for us. Remember those in our families who are no longer with us and especially remember our Lord who sacrificed His Life so that we may live a life of eternal Happiness.
