Hello my sister, Thank for all of you comments that you send to me, sometimes it's what you say that just turns my day from bad to good, and again thanks.
This is to ALL of my friends... Were back! Thank you so much for your thughts and prayers. Today God graced us with what we've been needing for Terri and myself, but also for our kids, and it is now just a matter of time.
MOST of your prayers were so totally answered... We wouldn't have made it without God, and your prayers also, God heard them and answered them. Now we are still in need of prayer for our disabilities, and such, however the problems that were keeping us from OCP has been taken care of, and I thank you so much for your prayers.
Hi Teresa. Thanks for the comment. I had a great week and hope You had the same. Here's looking forward to a Blessed Friday and week end for You and myself!!!! Love in Christ Jesus, buddy
I pray you have an enjoyable and blessed Fourth of July weekend. May it be filled with love, fun, and all the blessings that our Father pours out on you.
I know I haven't been around much (currently helping "Hubby" restore our '79 Dodge PU), but same as for everyone else, summer seems to fill up with activities, projects and trips that normally happen when the weather cooperates. So please know that as time allows, I will check in. I miss you all and pray this summer is blessed by our Father God for each and every one. Love ya', have a safe and wonderful Jesus filled summer!!
Hi, I'm sending this same comment to everyone. I'm still getting better, and I'll explain. One of my children has been giving terri and myself some serious problems as of late, in addition to the problems we are having on a normal basis, and we are seriously stretched to the limit of our sanity, and stressed to the MAX, so the reason why I went to the Hospital the other night was because I had a massive Anxiety attack, which has some of the same symptoms of a Heart Attack (side note.... my father died of congestive heart failure), I went out in excessive heat and humidity to find my daughter, and as you all know I am not in good physical health myself, well with all these conditions (health, heat, humidity, diagnosed severe depression, diagnosed anxiety, a child giving us problems of biblical perportions) I had the anxiety attack, and after tests, xrays, and medicine my anxiety calmed down, but the Dr. did find that I am in the first stages of Bronchitis... I have a bad history with Bronchitis, with me it will turn into Pnuemonia very easily, and this would be very bad, but it was caught early, and with meds I'll be fine and free of bronchitis.
This has set me back a week or two, but I'm trying my best to get back to OCP on a regular basis. Terri and I really thank you for all of your prayers, and wish that you all please still pray. Our daughter is really letting Satan control her, and she has just pushed Jesus out of the throne in her heart, and seemingly put him in the closet, and we need prayer for her to come back to God, and be the child of God we know she can be.
Thank you all again. God bless you. Your brother in Christ, Scott
Thank you for the blessing and the note. I know the pain of back trouble all too well. I injured my back in 1995 and had to have surgery and then again just a month ago. I am only now starting back to work. I pray you a speedy recovery. Remember, in 1Peter chapt. 2 verse 24 it says "by whose wounds you were healed." "Were" is past tense which means the healing has already taken place. All we have to do is claim it in faith. Faith is not a thought or a felling. It is an action so we must "act" in faith. So we must "act" as though we are healed to recieve the healing. "We walk by faith not by sight". I pray that healing for you. I hope you have a wonderful trip. I am not sure exactly where you are going, but if you are in the area stop in Lake Lure/Chimney Rock. It is beautiful. Along Hwy 64 there in Lake Lure is an old country store called Thelma's. Stop in and grab a Coke in the original glass bottles and drink one for me. And tell her I said hello. I won't be getting there again until around Christmas. Many Blessings....
My name is Robert. I too love the Carolina mountains. I was born and raised there in a little town called Marion, NC. I lived there or around there my whole life until 10 years ago when I moved to Baton Rouge, La. My wife is from here and she needed to be close to her family so, as God said a man will leave his family to cling to his wife, and I am here with her. But I dream of us moving to Lake Lure NC to retire someday. To me, there is no more beautiful place on earth. Anyway, I pray all is well with you and yours. May God pour out His blessings on you today and always.
I hope not, for this is the day that the Lord has made!!! Thank God that we have been given another Monday in our lives. Have a great week and have a...
Hello injungirl, I do have a few questions... maybe I could get him interested in joining OCP, as we have a few things in common, What type of games does he play... Computer games, Playstation 2 games, or whatever. I like NHRA Funny cars, Top Fuel Dragsters, and Prostock Motorcycles. I have a few friends on OCP, and I'm always looking for more, but the way my wife and me do it is... I'll befriend the husbands, and my wife will get to be friends with the wives, and then if things work out then we get to be friends with both, and I just love to fellowship, and share the word of God. I was wondering what yours and your husbands names are? If this is too personal then that's fine, I understand, just like when I have a conversation with a person I make eye contact with them, I also like to know the names of people with whom I'm talking to. If you don't want to that's ok. I'd like to become friends with your hubby. I like to play computer games, and have a number of them, I have most of the Command & Conquer games, I like Starcraft, and Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War, and a bunch of others. I have the Playstation 2, and numerous games my favorite is Call to Duty 2: Big Red One, and Killzone, and then we have an original top loading Nintendo game console, and of course Legend of Zelda, and Adventures of Link. Well anyway I'll give him my email address if he wants it. I hope this didn't sound too pushy or anything , or even Sinister as in those phishers who steal personal information, I just get so excited when I think about fellowshipping about God. Well I'll close for now. God bless you. Your brother in Christ, Scott
I pray that you and yours have a wonderful, safe and Blessed Memorial Day Weekend. Remember those who have sacrificed their lives for us. Remember those in our families who are no longer with us and especially remember our Lord who sacrificed His Life so that we may live a life of eternal Happiness.
Hello, I was wondering... Does your Hubby have a Profile on OCP? If so... have him come my way and perhaps we might become friends. I'll be praying for both of you, and for your operation on the 3rd. God is the great healer, and I'll be lifting you up to him, but he already knows yours and your husbands needs, he just loves to hear from us all. God bless you. Your brother in Christ, Scott

I saw that you are having a spinal fusion. I am so sorry to hear you have to go through that. If you haven't already please post a prayer request in the "Prayer Chapel". My husband has had 5 back surgeries, so I can certainly sympathize! Please post a prayer and I will add you to the Praise and Prayer list for your prayer request. Keep us posted. You are in our thoughts and prayers! God bless, Terri
