I know I haven't been around much (currently helping "Hubby" restore our '79 Dodge PU), but same as for everyone else, summer seems to fill up with activities, projects and trips that normally happen when the weather cooperates. So please know that as time allows, I will check in. I miss you all and pray this summer is blessed by our Father God for each and every one. I pray that you and yours have a wonderful, safe and Blessed Memorial Day Weekend. Remember those who have sacrificed their lives for us. Remember those in our families who are no longer with us and especially remember our Lord who sacrificed His Life so that we may live a life of eternal Happiness.
To some it sounds strange to say "Good" Friday for the day our Lord was crucified. It is truly good for this act of sacrifice opened the gates of Heaven to all who want it. It is good for we know it was a day that the enemy thought he had won, but just did not know that Jesus was to overcome death with Eternal Life. So this is the day the Lord has made and it is Good, so let us rejoice and be glad.

LIKE AARON & HUR, I will uphold the hands of my spiritual leaders. (Exodus 17:11-12) 13. LIKE ISAIAH, I will fully consecrate myself to the Lord for any service. (Isa. 6:8) 14. LIKE ANDREW, I will strive to bring my siblings and others to Christ. (John 1: 40-42) 15. LIKE JOHN, I will become a close and trusted friend to Christ. (John 19: 26-27) 16. LIKE STEPHEN, I will pray for the forgiveness of those who do me harm. (Acts 7: 59-60) 17. LIKE TIMOTHY, I will diligently apply myself to the study of God's Word. (2Tim. 2:15) 18. LIKE JESUS, I will be willing to die to self to bring forth much fruit for God's glory. (Matt. 16:24 and John 12:24). Realizing that I cannot hope to accomplish these things in my own strength. I will rely upon Christ, for "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." The indwelling Spirit of God gives both the desire and the ability to fulfill His will for our lives.
