Several miraculous signs follows the Death of Jesus.  One of these is the temple veil being torn.  With the death of Jesus on the cross a new covenant and a new temple was established.  The new covenant established salvation for all through the blood of Christ which were shed for our sins.  The temple was established in each and every believer.  No longer was a animal sacrificed by a high priest for our sins.  Jesus became both our sacrifice and high priest.  Jesus sits at the right hand of God to make intercession for every believer.  It is through Jesus that we have access to God.  This gives us a personal relationship with the Father through Christ.  This is why Jesus is the only way to the Father, don’t be deceived by anyone that teaches anything different.  No other so called god or prophet or spiritual guru has made the sacrifice for you to gain access to the Father.  Verses 52 and 53 describes Old Testament saints rising from the dead.  A sign that through the death of Christ we have life and a sign of things to come.
