I pray that you and yours have a wonderful, safe and Blessed Memorial Day Weekend. Remember those who have sacrificed their lives for us. Remember those in our families who are no longer with us and especially remember our Lord who sacrificed His Life so that we may live a life of eternal Happiness.
To some it sounds strange to say "Good" Friday for the day our Lord was crucified. It is truly good for this act of sacrifice opened the gates of Heaven to all who want it. It is good for we know it was a day that the enemy thought he had won, but just did not know that Jesus was to overcome death with Eternal Life. So this is the day the Lord has made and it is Good, so let us rejoice and be glad.
1. LIKE PAUL, I wll forget those things which are behind and press forward. (Phil 3:13) 2. LIKE DAVID, I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence cometh my help. (Psa.121:1) 3. LIKE JOSEPH, I will turn my back on seductive advances. (Gen. 39:12) 11. LIKE GIDEON, I will move ahead by faith in spite of humanly-hopeless odds. (Judges 7:7) 12. LIKE AARON & HUR, I will uphold the hands of my spiritual leaders. (Exodus 17:11-12) 13. LIKE ISAIAH, I will fully consecrate myself to the Lord for any service. (Isa. 6:8) 14. LIKE ANDREW, I will strive to bring my siblings and others to Christ. (John 1: 40-42) 15. LIKE JOHN, I will become a close and trusted friend to Christ. (John 19: 26-27) 16. LIKE STEPHEN, I will pray for the forgiveness of those who do me harm. (Acts 7: 59-60) 17. LIKE TIMOTHY, I will diligently apply myself to the study of God's Word. (2Tim. 2:15) 18. LIKE JESUS, I will be willing to die to self to bring forth much fruit for God's glory. (Matt. 16:24 and John 12:24). Realizing that I cannot hope to accomplish these things in my own strength. I will rely upon Christ, for "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." The indwelling Spirit of God gives both the desire and the ability to fulfill His will for our lives.

In many parts of the world, many will celebrate Labor Day this Monday. If you are traveling, please drive safely. If you are working, be thankful for a job and if you are off, use it wisely.
And if you don't have Labor Day where you are... sowwy, but may that day and all days be Blessed for you as well.

I have a prayer request for all of our members here. One on our members here, Matt Di Filippo, just got news that his grandfather was rushed to the hospital for emergency care. Matt is only 17 years old and has a great zeal for the Lord.
