I pray that you and yours have a wonderful, safe and Blessed Memorial Day Weekend. Remember those who have sacrificed their lives for us. Remember those in our families who are no longer with us and especially remember our Lord who sacrificed His Life so that we may live a life of eternal Happiness.
To some it sounds strange to say "Good" Friday for the day our Lord was crucified. It is truly good for this act of sacrifice opened the gates of Heaven to all who want it. It is good for we know it was a day that the enemy thought he had won, but just did not know that Jesus was to overcome death with Eternal Life. So this is the day the Lord has made and it is Good, so let us rejoice and be glad.

In many parts of the world, many will celebrate Labor Day this Monday. If you are traveling, please drive safely. If you are working, be thankful for a job and if you are off, use it wisely.

Two blondes, Becky and Sally, were putting siding on a house. Becky, who was nailing down the siding, would reach into her nail pouch, pull out a nail and either toss it over her shoulder or nail it in.
Sally, wondering what she was doing, asked, "Why are you throwing away all those nails?"
Becky explained, "When I pull a nail out of my pouch, about half of them have the head on the wrong end, so I throw them away."
Sally got completely upset and yelled, "You moron! Those nails aren't defective, they're for the other side of the house!"
